Guide to Early Poptropica

This is one of the many islands players are able to play on the Poptropica game and it is a fun island to explore. The primary objective is to assist the settlers of Early Poptropica and recover some prized possessions that have been lost or stolen including a Prized Pig, the bucket for their well, and their flag. This is a help and guide for the island. There is also a complete walkthrough for Early Poptropica.

  • Head over to the right and keep moving until you arrive in Early Poptropica.
  • Speak with the settlers. One of them says he has lost his pig and that a spider stole it.
  • Another person tells you about a stolen bucket for the well.
  • There is one more settler on top of the tower. That guy tells you they have lost their flag and they need to get it back to them.
  • Walk all the way back to the beginning and you will see an open sewer grate by a fire hydrant.
  • Walk down into the sewer and get the pig in the bottom right corner.
  • Walk back out of the sewer and get back onto the street.
  • Look for the person who was missing his pig and click on him. He will take his pig back.
  • Go into the well.
  • Find the glow stick. You can see it in the upper-right corner.
  • Walk back up and get out of the well.
  • Go left towards the start.
  • Go further to the left and get to Poptropica Towers.
  • Go to another pothole and go down.
  • Explore below the street until you find a golden egg.
  • Get the egg.
  • Move up the buildings until you get to the last one.
  • Go to the top of the very last one and go up the vine.
  • Click on the giant.
  • Keep on going right until you se a bucket and a jetpack.
  • Once you find those items head back down to the street.
  • Head back to Main Street then use the jetpack to fly to the top of the water tower and get the flag.
  • Go back to Early Poptropica and give the man by the wall his water bucket.
  • Head up to the tower and give the settler his flag.
  • A ship will come to shore and you need to click on the man on board the ship to get your medal.

Rockhopper

Rockhopper is a popular pirate penguin that often arrives at Club Penguin on his sailing ship, called the Migrator. He usually arrives on the island every two months and usually his appearance is part of a giant party or special event. He comes along with his Yarr, his puffle companion. He always docks the Migrator at the Beach. He always brings rare items brought from Rockhopper Island. Often one of the items is a free item that non-members can purchase, but the rest of the items he brings are for members only.

One of the most fun things to do when Rockhopper is on the island in Club Penguin is to try and locate him. During his visit, he will often appear on one server at a time and move from room to room. If you find him you can receive a special autographed photo that is a player card background. When Rockhopper is online he appears just like a large red penguin except that he wears a pirate hat, and a long black beard which help him stand out.

You can see when he is arriving by looking for the Migrator on the horizon from the telescope at the Beacon. The Migrator will begin to appear almost a week before he arrives on the island. In a well-known incident in February, 2008, the Migrator struck an iceberg and sank. Rockhopper and Yarr arrived on the island in a life boat and Gary the Gadget Guy led all of Club Penguin in a monumental effort to rebuild Rockhopper’s ship. This event led to the release of a new game on Club Penguin called Aqua Grabber.

If you want to find Rockhopper when he is on the island, adhere to some basic tips. Look for him during busy times like weekends when he is most likely to be there. Get together with friends to locate him. Spread out across many servers. Use a Rockhopper Tracker to find out which server he is logged into and then go from room to room on that server. Don’t worry and try to be patient. Often a smart strategy is to pick a popular server and simply wait for him there.
