I have been into video games since I can remember. You can imagine my excitement when a buddy of mine told me there was such a thing as game tester jobs where you could actually make money from playing video games. What I did not know was that there was a web of greedy scam artists waiting to take the money off newbie game testers desperate for jobs. I wanted to write this article, cause I wanted everyone to know about this game testing scam.

Here Is My Story…

2 years ago I was just a bum gamer - living of $50 per week. I would spend anywhere up to 40 hours a week playing video games. I was finding it hard to keep my part time job. One day a gamer friend of mine tells me he is making $100 per hour testing games from the comfort of his living room.

So I decided to go online and did some Google searches for game testing and game tester job. There were a bunch of these game testing guides that were promising instant job offers and pay in excess of $100 per hour. I could not resist, so I coughed up the cash and kicked back and waited for the offers to come in. Guess what? They never did. Actually - only the 1 lame offer for an online PC game paying a measly $10 per hour. I was out of money, and at this point fuming.

So I emailed these guys a few times requesting refunds. I never heard back from them. They would not give any refunds. It was an absolute rip-off! I was livid and did not know what to do…

I was about to give up, but was still determined to find a game tester job. So I jumped on a few forums for video game testers. I came across some pretty cool people - they all recommended the same guide which was encouraging - it had landed them all some decent jobs. So I had absolutely nothing to lose, and decided to dive in and get the guide.

As I said that was two years ago. Today I make a decent salary from my game testing alone. I totally owe it to the guide which has hooked me up with the majority of my video game testing jobs. Its is the lifestyle for gamers - and all you need are the right jobs to get you started.
