WoW Druid Guide

This WoW druid guide will explain the primary advantages of playing a druid.

You can use many different play styles when playing a Druid. Druids are shape shifters which allows them to be a hybrid class. This is the reason that it is one of the most versatile classes in the whole game. A role can be found for Druids of every Spec, whether it’s Raiding or PvP at the end game.

In the same way as the other classes in World of Warcraft, Talents for druids fall into three main categories, or trees. Each of the druid talent trees can offer different things.

The Balance Tree which focuses on damage spells that will make the druid a very efficient spell damage dealer. Some Balance talents will modify the cost of Healing Spells which is crucial for any good healer, while others will be helpful when in the feral forms.

The Feral Combat Tree which focuses on using the shape shifting druid forms of Cat, Bear and Dire Bear, each of these focusing in turn on either tanking (Bear and Dire Bear), or on melee DPS (Cat form). Learning the right times to change forms is something that needs to be learned. If specializing in the Moonkin form, you need huge amounts of maximum Mana, and some Feral Combat talents will modify it.

The last tree, Restoration, will focus primarily on healing and make the druid a great healing class because druids can acquire the Tree of Life form. Some Restoration talents like Furor, will give the druid Rage when they switch into either Cat or Bear Form. The Mana cost of shape shifting will be reduced by 30% with talents like Natural Shape Shifter.

There are a few problems with playing a druid that you should be aware of. Since druids have the ability to do so many things, focusing on a single strategy can be quite difficult. It is also necessary to carry more equipment than other characters since different Forms require different gear, so you will need several complete sets.
