How To Get Psp Downloads

by JJ Cantabria

If you’ve recently bought a PSP you may be wondering how you can downloads games music and movies for it. The good news is that it is actually quite easy once you have the right firmware installed. There are several ways of downloading PSP games some are illegal whereas others are legal. You will generally find that the sites that offer them for free are fall into the first category whilst the membership type of sites are generally legal.

You can either join one where you will be expected to pay either a yearly or monthly subscription fee or there are ones which just you require you to pay a one time life time membership fee. Both of these kinds of sites will then generally allow you unlimited access to all the games that they have stored within their databases.

In order for you to download any games to your PSP from these sites you will first of all need to download them on to your PC or laptop. This is really easy to accomplish as long as you make sure that you have the correct software on your PC or laptop that will allow you to download such games for your PSP.

All the membership sites we reviewed provided us with the right software to enable us to download PSP games and movies. The main difference we found was in the quality of the instructions. You can choose to pay monthly which will cost you around $15 per month or you can select a onetime payment which will give you lifetime membership from around $39. Once your payment has been confirmed you are then able to choose the games and movies you want and start to download them.

The games will initially download to your laptop or PC. The membership site should have given you good instruction about how to transfer the games to your PSP. We found that by far the best instructions were to be found on PSPNerd. Once the files are safely on your PC or laptop it’s time to transfer them to your PSP

Now that you have the files on your PC it’s time to transfer them to your PSP. You can do this using 2 simple methods. Either connect your PSP to your PC or laptop via a USB cable and transfer the files directly to the correct folder on your PSP or use a compatible memory stick. To use a memory stick you need to first copy the files from the PC to the memory stick and then place the memory stick into the PSP.

It is preferable to use the USB method where possible, as it is very rare for problems to occur. As soon as the cable is plugged in to both devices the PSP should appear on your PC. Then it is just a simple matter of dragging and dropping the files from the PC to the PSP. The only problems happen when you have used a file with the wrong extension or you have placed them into the wrong folder on the PSP.

As you can see getting PSP downloads is pretty easy once you follow a few simple steps. The key is finding the right site that has the games you need and easy to follow instructions. If you need more information then please have a look at our review pages.
