The Search Is On - Halo 3 Skulls

The Halo 3 skulls have been designed for gamers to allow the game to be more challenging and interesting as well. These skulls are considered Easter eggs in the game, and are generally placed out of the way during game play to allow the gamer to search for them. Although many gamers may have an idea on where to locate these or take their time to do so, many gamers may become frustrated while trying to look. There are however tutorial’s and walkthrough’s available online for these gamers, to help them to locate these skulls to allow for a more challenging or interesting game play.

There are two different types of Halo 3 skulls that are available to be found, and they all achieve something different. The two different categories consist of Gold Skulls and Silver Skulls. Each category does something different; take the gold skulls for example. Gold skulls give you achievements and they are worth 10 gamer points when you first acquire them. There are 9 gold skulls in total, and when you collect all 9 gold skulls, it will give you the body and the shoulder armor called Hayabusa Armor. These skulls generally affect your game play and will allow you to make the game more challenging if you want it to be.

Silver skulls are different; they do not unlock any achievements. There are 4 silver skulls in total and by collecting all of these; it will allow you to change the physics, dialogue and appearance of game play. An example of this would be the IWHBYD skull, A.K.K ‘I Would Have Been Your Daddy’. This skull when achieved unlocks new and humorous dialogue for the AI’s. You may hear such things as “Pie is good” that can be said by the brutes or “This is Sparta!” That comes from the marines.

In order to obtain the skulls in Halo 3 for xbox during game play you have to begin your level starting from the beginning and on a Normal difficulty setting or a higher difficulty setting. After you’ve acquired a skull from the game, you do not have to actually finish the level.

You can simply save and quit your game; however that’s not the case with the IWHBYD skull. And remember, if you’re having problems trying to find skulls throughout the game, there are many different walkthroughs available for you, to help you acquire these, to allow for a more exciting gameplay.

Competing in a Depressing Job Market

So, you’ve heard the latest job news, and it’s depressing… downright demoralizing. You’ve been holding out in a less-than-exciting position in a mediocre company, waiting for things to turnaround so you could make a move. Yeah. You and how many others?

You’re not the only one that had to hunker down and just stay employed when things started getting bad. Or maybe you were just lucky to grab something, anything to pay the bills, and you’ve been waiting to get back on track. That’s a bad enough situation, but when you think about the fact that you’re just one of many and that the market’s going to be flooded with folks jockeying for change and advancement once things do start looking up, it’s enough to sap any sense of optimism you have.

The job market (and the whole economy for that matter) has been moving en-masse the last seven or eight years… very little individualism, few rewards for independent thinkers or entrepreneurs, pretty much everyone moving together: up, down, sideways, watching this or that, waiting for the next “window of opportunity”. The rapidly expanding economy in the nineties led us to believe that everyone could win, that there really was “gold in them there hills”, and that there was enough for everyone who was willing to go after it. That was then; this is now. Times have changed.

So, you just have to wait a little longer, right? Wrong! Unless you want to continue being a part of the crowd and settling for the common denominator, that’s the wrong approach. There ARE opportunities out there, and there is actually LESS competition for many positions because most candidates are playing it safe, going with the market momentum and staying put. That is an opportunity for those who stay active, who keep their resumes current on the job boards, and who stay in touch with recruiters through resume blasting services or networking.

First, keep your resume up-to-date. If you’ve been in your position for a while, you might be surprised at the new experiences you’ve gained that are not reflected in the resume you were peddling a while back. Take this opportunity to review your resume and dust off the cobwebs. Streamline or refocus some of the previous positions, skills, or experiences in light of today’s market and your objectives. Maybe your objectives have changed… one or two or three years ago when you were looking, maybe you were more desperate, maybe your feelings about relocation have changed (one way or the other – maybe you don’t think you could sell your house now!). Maybe it’s time to consider a resume writing service to help with your resume. There are a lot of excellent resume writers out there, and many of them offer a free resume checkup.

Secondly, think about your cover letter. If you don’t have one that’s appropriate anymore, take the time to invest in one. Your resume cover letter (even if it’s in email form) is the first thing a recruiter will see, and it’s what determines whether your resume gets read. Your cover letter should be short and to-the-point, conversational in tone, but professional. It should highlight two or three compelling qualifications that you bring to the table, either significant accomplishments or skills and experiences that will be of interest. Your goal is to get the reader to look at your resume. If you don’t have a solid cover letter or a good template that you can use, you’ll be at a disadvantage when you do see an opportunity worth considering. Coming up with a cover letter will be just one more obstacle, or you’ll do a mediocre job of throwing something together, hoping it does the job. That’s not going to get it done for you. Consider using a resume writer to help you draft a cover letter or get your hands on some good examples or templates and do it yourself.

Next time you read another lousy headline about the job market or hear another depressing statistic on the radio or television, you can take hope in the fact that YOU are doing something. You are moving forward. You are differentiating yourself from the crowd.

Halo 3 Armor Offers New Features

Halo gamers are now able to customize their online character with new Halo 3 Armor permutations. For gamers who play online there are two different characters that can be chosen from. A gamer can play as the Covenant Elite character or they can play as Master Chief or also known as UNSC SPARTAN-II. These new armor permutations we’re first introduce during the Halo 3 beta, and all of the new armor can be unlocked by accomplishing different tasks through out the campaign game play or multiplayer game play.

It was mentioned earlier that gamers could choose to play as either a Covenant Elite or Master Chief. If the gamer decides to play as a Covenant player, then he or she will be able to choose from 625 different Halo 3 Armor permutations once they are all unlocked. This includes various color combinations as well. They can choose from 5 helmets, 5 shoulder pieces and 5 chest pieces. They will be able to make a combo of 1 helmet, 2 shoulder pieces and a chest piece for their character.

If the player decided to play as Master Chief, there is various permutations 6144 armor at their disposal. The reason the number is higher compared to the gamer who plays as a Covenant Elite is due to the fact that more gamers choose to play as Master Chief. When the gamer decides to play as Master Chief, they will be able to choose from 11 helmets, 8 shoulder pieces and 8 chest pieces. This will allow for a combo of 1 helmet, 2 shoulder pieces and a chest piece for their character.

There are several pieces of Halo 3 Armor permutations that will already be unlocked by default for the gamer. The rest of the armor permutations can be unlocked by achieving different tasks throughout the game. The gamer can unlock pieces of armor by defeating the game on Heroic or Legendary difficulty level, or some pieces of armor maybe unlocked by collecting skulls or by completing different achievements throughout game play. These armor permutations we’re developed by developers to allow gamers to be able to customize their online character. They can allow the gamer to make their character better reflex themselves, or allow the gamer to be able to set themselves apart from the many gamers who play Halo 3 online.
