The Cool Online Feature Of The PSP Gaming Device

by Ronn Aragon

There were a lot of skepticism whether PSP would last long in the market because hand-held gaming has clearly been dominated by another company’s game. But Playstation Portable has completely changed the game through the introduction of creative innovations that just gets better and better.

It is safe to say that PSP now leads the pack of portable gaming devices and it is the clear game of choice by most avid fans who are looking to buy a new portable game. The extra features that Sony added to the PSP, especially, it’s computer connectivity has opened the doors to more possibilities.

We all know that whatever gadget you have that can be connected to a PC and know your way through the ins and outs of the web, then you can be assured that such a gadget will give you more mileage. Thus, the emergence of websites that give out support and tutorials for PSP users on how to get that extra mileage from their games and this also paved the way for a lot of controversies about the legality of these support sites.

These websites were usually developed by different PSP gamers and fanatics who knows their stuff and offered free PSP downloads for games, music and movies. However, due to the free condition of their sites, a lot of complaints from end users have come up which range to questions about maintenance, updates and most of all security issues.

The free status of their sites have compromised the security of their offered file downloads. And although there are also good and clean games for download, it usually takes a lot of time to download one file because of technology issues so you better have a lot of patience when you try to download one.

Because of the nature of the service rendered and the complaints that has piled up, most of these download sites did not last long in the internet. However, there were websites who have upgraded their technology to be able to keep up with virus protection issues and offered their services for a small one time fee.

But even though these sites charge a one time fee for unlimited downloads of games, music and movies, there is still the question about legal issues that makes this a bit controversial in the online community. This does not only pertain to PSP but also to other gadgets that can be connected online. Keeping up with the latest in PSP requires money and if you are really an avid fan, then it requires more money.

So, with or without controversy, I think the websites that offer these unlimited downloads will stay online as long as there are end users who avail and take advantage of their membership offers and features. Who can blame them? The sites that offer lifetime membership fees are the ones that has given gamers the real and best value for their money. No more worries for viruses and no more monthly fees to pay. You can log in to their member site anytime you want, download and enjoy all the games, movies and music you can get your greedy hands on to.
